When we launched DayAway in 2021, the goal was to provide our community with access to luxury escapes through a seamless digital user experience. After over a year of planning and building, DayAway is officially transitioning into Web3. If you’re wondering what NFTs have to do with hotel experiences, or if you’ll be able to Sling & Swim in the metaverse, read on.
What’s not going to change
The transition into Web3 is an evolution, not a transformation. DayAway will still offer luxury daytime escapes as well as some new lifestyle experiences that go beyond hotels, such as private sailing escapes, VIP shopping trips and tastings at Michelin-starred restaurants. Everything you love about DayAway will always be here. Web3 will make it even better by enhancing memberships and the way you collect benefits.
NFT-enabled memberships
Buying an NFT is not the same as buying a jpeg. When you buy an NFT, you buy a piece of code that gives you proof of ownership. Proof that you own a piece of digital art, a house, or a membership. The latter is what we’re offering with the DayAway Genesis collection.
Genesis is the world’s first NFT loyalty program and membership that grants immediate and exclusive access to luxury experiences from some of the world’s most iconic brands (such as Rosewood, Waldorf Astoria and more). Consider it the “black card” of NFTs. The first drop in the Genesis Collection is the Founder’s Key, which includes 500 limited-edition NFTs that unlock a Lifetime Premium Membership to DayAway, as well as access to a host of experiences worldwide.

Web3 was always the plan for DayAway and, now, we get to share it with our wonderful community. Genesis is only the beginning. Currently, we’re collaborating with trailblazers in the Web3 space such as Wilder World and Metaversal to create even more amazing offers for the community.
Furthermore, all money raised from Genesis NFTs will go straight into building more experiences and benefits for our NFT holders. This gives us more freedom and fewer restrictions. Hence, we can put all of our energy into providing the most value for you.
